Glasvegas
A typical set in Las Vegas with normally interesting performances is not so good this time around. A group called Glasvegas has been hyped up in the UK and is just not doing very well here. Apparently, they have a lot of songs taken from Jesus and Mary Chain, a similar group that made the same jump before. The writer in this magazine seems to think that this indicates more a lack of imagination than a show of respect to them. And that’s not the only point where the music falters. The reviewer just doesn’t like their sound or anything about them really. It just seems to drag and bore the audience. Oh well.
