Weezer joins Youtube mania
Weezer has introduced a new element into their much awaited music video for the acclaimed single “Pork and Beans”. Instead of impressing fans with cool graphics and though provoking concepts, the band is set to tickle the fans’ ribs with cameo appearances by popular Youtube icons such as Miss Carolina, Chris Crocker and the funny men who put Mentos inside Diet Cokes to create geyser-like effects. To date, the single “Pork and Beans” have been pleasing 1.2 million audience ever since it was uploaded to Youtube last Friday. The song tells of how cool geekery is on the Internet and despite what others might think, both fans and critics are convinced that this may be the band’s best promotional strategy yet.
