Alicia Keys may be known for her soulful voice and renditions of romantic hits like “If I Ain’t Got You” and “No One” but another side of her is fast emerging to the public.

The 27 year old Grammy Award winner and singer-songwriter has been quoted “Gangsta rap was a ploy to convince black people to kill each other, and gangsta rap does not exist” in a bid to announce her obvious dislike of racism to her legion of fans.

She also added that she has read numerous Black Panther autobiographies and now sports a gold AK-47 pendant around her neck. When asked why, she boldly states that the pendant is a symbol of strength, power and “killing  ‘em dead”. Her mother is most shocked at her proclamation and of her wearing the pendant, saying that it is most unlike her daughter.

Conveniently, no one was able to reach the diva for comments to confirm or to refute her conspiracy theories.
