Ringo Starr ready with All Starr band for North American tour
Ringo Starr, the drummer from Beatles, is getting ready for the summer tour of North America by joining his All Starr Band. Ringo’s group will include returning band members like Billy Squier, Colin Hay, Edgar Winter and Hamish Stuart. New faces like Gary Wright and George Bissonette, the drummer also will be present in the touring group this year. The tour is set to start on June 19th with two- night performance in Niagara Falls and will move to the American venues later. One of the major shows will occur at the New York’s Radio City Music Hall. Ringo Starr has released a new album “Liverpool 8” in mid- January. This tour will see some performances from this album.
The group will perform the hit songs from Starr’s songs like “Yellow Submarine”, “With a little Help from my Friends”, “It Don’t Come Easy” etc, and will also play famous songs of each member’s catalog. Ringo’s tour itinerary starts from June 19th and ends on August 2, 2008 at Los Angeles. It will be a pleasure to watch this star studded performance. Though Ringo was not very well -known while he was with Beatles, now he has gained popularity with his All Starr band.
