Mariah Carey, the pop diva, who is working day in and day out on her new album has revealed that the name of the album has changed from the previously announced “That Girl” to E=MC2. The forthcoming album will be Carey’s 11th studio album and is said to be a follow up of her previous critically accepted album “The Emancipation of Mimi”. The album, E=MC2 is slated to be released on April 15 and the first single of the album “Touch My Body” is currently playing at the radio stations all over the world. The video for this song will be directed by her long time associate Brett Ratner, who has done her previous songs like “Heartbreaker” and “I Still Believe”.

Mariah Carey is also promoting her fragrance named M by Mariah Carey and has been simultaneously working on the album as well as her fragrance. The producers of the album are Cool and Dre and were asked by Mariah to do her new record similar to the Mariah’s favorite record New York. But they insisted that there has to be something special about this album of Mariah’s and came up with some hard beats that have not so far been seen. The popular artists who have worked with Mariah Carey in E=MC2 include Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, Usher and Mary J Blige.
