Kelly Rowland to re-release ‘Ms. Kelly’
Kelly Rowland the charter member of the internationally famous band Destiny’s Child is readying her latest album ‘Ms. Kelly” for a re–release. It has been announced that the album will be re-titled and will have more sensitive tracks as well as some re-mixes. ‘Ms. Kelly’ was the second solo album of this R&B singer and was released on 22nd June 2007. The re-release of this album is scheduled for March 25th, 2008. The first week sales of ‘Ms. Kelly’ were moderate with the sale of 82,500 copies. This album came to the No. 2 position on the Billboard Top R&B/ Hip Hop chart in U.S and was ranked sixth in the official Billboard 200.
The album failed to create much response outside U.S and this made the singer really sad. So, Kelly decided to re-issue the album after recording some new songs, as she felt that the final track list of ‘Ms. Kelly’ had too many disappointing inclusions. Many of her fans suggested that the songs would sound better if they had more tempos. The first single in the new edition will be “Daylight” which was not released earlier. The new issue will be named “Diva Deluxe” and will be released in digital format.
