Jennifer to do balancing act between music and acting
Jennifer Hudson, the American Idol, is busy with a handful of roles in different movies. Last year she won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Effie in “Dream Girls” and more and more roles are coming her way now. At present she is doing “The Secret Life of Bees” which is a 1960-era film. She had a very eventful year in 2007 with music and movies and she is thankful to “American Idol” for becoming the channel for her success. She is least affected by her Oscar win and popularity. In “The Secret Life of Bees”, her 4th film, her character is called Rosaleen and is a full length character.
In her upcoming Movie “Sex and the City” she plays a sweet, young girl who is in love with the idea of being in love. Hudson is happy that she is getting to play different varieties of roles. She wants to balance between her acting and musical career. She believes in giving 100% dedication to whatever she is doing. Hudson thinks that every thing should be done by proper planning, so that it will last. She is proud to be the American Idol and has made proper use of the exposure she has got from the competition.
