The Cribs, a trio musical group in the UK has announced that they would redo a tour to North America to promote their debut cd release titled “Men’s Needs, Whatever and women’s Needs”. The tour kicks off on the 8th of March 2008 at the upcoming MX beat festival to hold in Mexico City and would pan out on the first week of April. Their other scheduled stops includes the Engine Room on March 11 in Houston, the Stubbs Bar on March 14th in Austin, 40 Watts Club on March 17th in Athens, the North Star on March 22nd in Philadelphia, Double Door on the 25th of March in Chicago. Others are chop Suey on March 31st in Seattle and El Rey’s Theatre on April 5th in Los Angeles.

The group’s twin members Ryan and Gary Jarman and younger brother and third member were not able to complete their tour last year. Ryan who is the vocalist and guitarist had to be rushed to the emergency ward after he fainted during a live performance on stage in Birmingham, UK. He was later found to be suffering from blood poison caused by cuts he received from the strings of his guitar. It is hoped that this year’s tour would be successful and would help them promote their new album. A wide distribution of their EP would become available on March 8.
