February 21st to be celebrated as Rihanna Day
The Barbados pop diva, Rihanna, who turned 20 on the 20th of February this year, is all set and geared up to accept the honor of being awarded with a national day in her home town in the Caribbean. Rihanna, the singer of smash hit number “Umbrella” is thrilled to bits on hearing that Barbados will be declare the 21st of February as “Rihanna Day”. Rihanna is totally surprised but pleased on receiving this high honor at this tender age and will fly to her hometown to accept the honor and will also perform a concert for free there. There is a rumor lurking around that she will not be travelling alone to receive the honor and will be accompanied by boyfriend Chris Brown.
Even though the celebrity pair have denied having a relationship, Chris had helped Rihanna organize a birthday bash earlier last week in which some of her close friends, Kanye west and Wilmer Vanderrama were among the guests invited for the party at the Les Deux night club in Los Angeles. The couple was spotted together through the entire duration of the bash and they also attended the Grammy Awards function together. The Caribbean people in Barbados will be able to see their proud hometown girl perform in the most happening party place, Barbados.
