Rihanna, the Umbrella singer, has put aside the rumors involving her alleged romance with rapper Jay-Z and said that the rumors are baseless. Rihanna, a 2008 Grammy winner and a star performer in her own right, is really upset about this rumor and said that Jay-Z was only her mentor and not her lover. She has been advised by Jay-Z to ignore these sorts of rumors and to concentrate on the job ahead of her. The Barbados R&B singer insists that her love life is a private affair and says that Christian Augilera and her husband are her favorite couples as they love each other very much.

Rihanna also warned her potential boy friends if any, not to be over confident, arrogant and she loves to listen to guys talking as she can learn a lot of things by talking to guys. She feels that no woman should lower her standards for a guy as they will then start eating upon the poor woman’s head. A woman should have all the rights to speak out her thoughts in any relationship and this will only help in having a good relationship with a man. Rihanna also confines to the fact that rumors like these are part of any celebrity’s life.
