World superstar Beyonce Knowles flashed a wide smile upon arriving in Manila, Philippines, yesterday. She came here for a show in Taguig City, together with her 70-member entourage, that includes her crew, musicians, and personal security. They all arrived on board a chartered jet at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, drawing a crowd of airport workers and journalists at the rain-soaked ramp.

Beyonce will appear tonight in her show at the Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City. The performer’s arrival drew a crowd of reporters, photographers, and airport workers waiting patiently for the superstar under a light drizzle on the airport ramp.

Before Beyonce appeared, a flight attendant came out of the jet in orer to place a floral arrangement at the bottom of the stairs and a long blue carpet on the landing. Her private security, all in black, positioned themselves around a parked Ford Excursion scanning the crowd.

A couple of minutes later, Beyonce emerged from the aircraft with a bodyguard in front of her. Descending the steps with care, she was smiling and waving at the media waiting for her behind a security cordon.

The 26-year-old singer and actress, the voice behind hits like “Baby Boy” and “Irreplaceable” wore a white shirt and tight-fitting jeans. Beyonce paused briefly to face photographers before boarding the waiting SUV, part of a 5-car convoy.

Airport workers and even police used the great opportunity to snap shots of the superstar using their digital cameras and phone cameras.

Beyonce’s aircraft, a 172-seater MD-83 jet, flew in from Shanghai, China. The chartered Blue Line airplane will stay at the Naia’s remote parking area until the performer flies out tomorrow morning.
