Hillary Clinton Celebrates 60 With a Concert
Mrs. Hillary Clinton, whose birthday was on October 26, celebrated her 60th birthday with a concert featuring the Wallflowers and Elvis Costello. Former President Bill Clinton introduced his wife to the audience; the two mostly delivered their typical campaign remarks. At one point, Elvis Costello drew applause for defending the notion of questioning authority as an act of patriotism. At the end of the performance, Costello led the audience in serenading Mrs. Hillary Clinton with “Happy Birthday” inserting the words “Mrs. President” in place of her name.
